How our hints work

Every hint is hidden behind its own button, and the buttons unlock in order. You decide how much help you take.

  1. Hint 1 tells you how wide the field is: how many answers are accepted, and how few of them are common. It shows whether to think broadly or precisely.
  2. Hint 2 gives the shape of one 100-point answer: how many words and letters it has.
  3. Hint 3 gives that answer's first and last letters. It stops short of naming it.

The hints are generated from the answer sheet itself, so they are facts about the answers rather than anyone's opinion. They aim at uncommon answers because in Krillion a correct answer that everyone else gives scores the least. For the thinking behind that, read how scoring and rarity tiers work or the rules of the game.
